Podere San Giorgio estate is home to more than 500 specimen of olive trees, between the garden and the olive grove in the valley. The trees are from different qualities, all typically Tuscan like Leccino, Frantoio, Moraiolo and Pendolino.
Every autumn, the Palummo family, together with the staff, gathers for the olive picking,done, as tradition demands, without any machinery and brought to a local oil mill.
Thanks for the cold pressing the result is a premium quality extra virgin oil, completely organic due to the absence of chemicals during the entire process, from the tree to the final stage.
The result is a reduced, around 300 kg per year, but exquisite production.
